Scotty's Bar closed
Due to the closure this week of Scotty's Bar and Cafe, there will no longer be NZSOP poker on a Wednesday night there. Watch this space though as we may have a brand new venue coming on shortly. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Sophia Petersen wins 2012 Season One Final
After a great weekend of poker we can announce that Sophia Petersen took out the Main Event over Warren Wesche yesterday.
A massive field of 153 descended on the Hamilton Cossie Club from far and wide to play for a $3000 prize pool and coveted Final 9 points. The top 9 got paid and are as follows: 1st: Sophia Petersen ($1000), 2nd: Warren Wesche ($600), 3rd: Wayne Rhind ($350), 4th: Kane Ron-Hewitt ($300), 5th: Danny Wisnewski ($250), 6th: William Wall ($200), 7th: David Gunn ($150), 8th: Kerry Millar ($100), 9th: Rani Teltiko ($50).
Thanks to everyone that came and we expect to see an even bigger field next time!!

New Hamilton venue!
NZSOP is proud to announce a new venue on Wednesdays in Hamilton. Scotties Bar & Cafe, 391 Victoria St. It will be hosted by the lovely Nadia and there are restaurant vouchers for 1st, 2nd and 3rd! First night is Wednesday 11th April so get along and have a great time!
